Information Collection HSD is the sole owner of the information collected on www.HeavenSentDating.com. HSD collects information from our Christian clients at www.HeavenSentDating.com/join_form.php (The application form). To reach this point of the website, you must click on "Join Us" on the "Home page" and after reading and accepting "Our Agreement" you are directed to fill out the application.

Chat room Keep in mind, if you use our system to send messages via this site, you should be aware that any personally identifiable information you submit within the chartroom can be read, collected, or used by the recipient of the message, and could be used to send you unsolicited messages. We are not responsible for the personal information you choose to submit within these forums.

Application/Registration In order to use this Web site, a user must first complete the registration form. During registration a client is required to give us his/her contact information (such as name and email address). We use this information to contact the user about services on our site in which s/he has expressed interest. It is not necessary for the client to provide demographic/race information (such as income level or race/ethnicity) or a social security number. However it is required that the client selects his/her user name and password and identifies a form of payment (such as credit card or e-checking), online or offline (by mail or in some cases by fax).

Profiles of members We store the collected information through cookies, and/or otherwise via application to create a personal profile of our users. A profile is a dynamic page with or without a user’s picture that uses partial stored information (without certain private/personal information). We keep one profile per one individual user. Profile has user details, information and viewing preferences that s/he has selected to be visible. Consequently, collected information is tied to the user’s personal information so other members can make certain determinations if the particular member should be contacted or not for possible dating leading to marriage. User’s visit to our Web site does not constitute direct or indirect marketing/promotions. We do not share your profile with any third parties.

Cookies A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s computer tied to information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personal information while on our site. On the home page we use the cookies by asking member to bookmark www.HeavenSentDating.com thus adding the site to their favorites. There is no collection of personal information involved on the home page. We use the ID session when members login. Once the user closes the browser, the ID session terminates. ID session is used to log in, access the chat room and restrict email privileges. With the setting of the ID session on our site, users don’t have to log in with the password more than once up to 25 to 30 minutes in some cases, thereby saving time while on our site.

Third Party Links The links appearing on this Web site are delivered to the users only as a courtesy or an advertisement. The information about users’ visit to those links, such as number of times they have viewed an ad (but not user name, address, or other personal information), can not be used to serve ads to users on this site. This privacy statement covers the use of cookies by HSD only and does not cover the use of cookies by any link provider.

Communications from HSD Welcoming new members: We send all new members a welcoming email with the password and username. Established members will occasionally receive information on products, services, special deals, and a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications. Monthly Newsletter: Newsletter with a new and/or important information is sent on a monthly basis to the members. We send such a letter to the name of the user to his/her email address. In order to unsubscribe from the newsletter, members will have to log in to their account, click on edit my profile, and check the option "no" under "Receive Monthly Newsletter." Service Announcements: On rare occasions it is necessary to send out a strictly service related announcement. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance we might send users an email. Generally, users may not opt-out of these communications, though they can deactivate their account. However, these communications are not promotional in nature. Customer Service: We communicate with the users on a regular basis to provide requested services and in regards to issues related to their accounts. For customer service communication we are available to be reached via email, phone or fax in accordance with the users wishes.

Sharing Legal Disclaimer Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we are served with subpoena on Governmental, criminal or civil action in accordance to current judicial proceeding.

Business Transitions In the event HSD goes through a business transition, such as a merger, being acquired by another company, or selling a portion of its assets, users’ personal information will, in most instances, be part of the assets transferred. Users will be notified via email, prominent notice on our Web site for 30 days, prior to a change of ownership or control of their personal information. If as a result of the business transition, the users’ personally identifiable information will be used in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection they will be given choice consistent with our notification of changes section.

Choice/Opt-out Our users are given the opportunity to ‘opt-out’ by removing their email address from our lists. Once a member, click on edit my profile and check the option "no" under "Receive Monthly Newsletter." If a member wants to cancel the membership, s/he will have to request a cancellation through email at kevin@www.HeavenSentDating.com Or simply, when logged into the account, click on Billing/Cancellation link and fill out the form according to the request. Tell-A-Friend (referral program) If a user elects to use our referral service for informing a friend about our site, we ask them for the friend’s user name and password. Upon confirmation and annual paid membership, both the user and the friend will receive an additional one month free.

Security This Web site takes every precaution to protect our users’ information. When users submit sensitive information on the Web site, their information is protected both online and off-line. When our registration/application form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number and/or date of birth), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry.
